It took around a week for the early bloating to settle, helped along by lymphatic massages. By day 15, Teena had her first proper shower and put on light makeup for a day trip with other patients.

"It's actually quite a scary journey at first, but once you get to like me, week two, I feel amazing."

Two weeks on, Teena was sad to leave the hotel and the friends she had made, but confident she would return.
