FAQ
Beauty Butler Thailand is a premium medical-tourism coordination agency in Bangkok.
We personally vet the surgeons, arrange JCI-accredited hospitals, and manage every detail of your cosmetic-surgery trip: a video consultation with your surgeon before any deposit, daily nurse visits during recovery, and aftercare once you're home — all for one honest, all-inclusive price.
We care for patients from Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, and the UK.
The difference is the care around the surgery. You meet your surgeon on a free video call before any deposit. You receive one honest, all-inclusive price with no hidden fees and no extra procedures pushed once you arrive. Your own English-speaking nurse visits you daily during recovery at a private hotel, every surgeon is personally vetted, and every procedure is performed at a JCI-accredited Bangkok hospital. And the support continues with aftercare once you're home.
Booking direct gets you surgery and nothing else. With us, surgery is one piece of a much bigger package — and most of the value sits in everything around it.
Airport pickup, premium recovery hotel, daily nurse visits at your room, transport to every appointment, support garments, pharmacy runs, post-op checks, and a coordinator who knows your case. Hundreds of journeys behind us, so we know which surgeon fits you, which hospital handles your procedure best, and what recovery actually looks like day by day.
Surgery is the beginning of your journey with us, not the end. From the moment you leave the operating room, you're surrounded by care.
A nurse visits your hotel suite every day — changing dressings, fitting your compression garments, checking your healing is on track, and keeping you comfortable. Your surgeon sees you for scheduled post-operative checks before you're cleared to fly. All your medications are arranged, and every trip between your hotel and the hospital is handled for you — you never need to find a taxi or navigate a pharmacy in a language you don't speak.
You recover in a private 5-star suite, not a hospital ward. Many patients tell us this is the part that surprised them most — how completely everything was taken care of, so their only job was to rest.
You're never left to figure things out alone. Before you fly, a dedicated coordinator plans every detail of your trip. Once you land, a Bangkok case manager becomes your single point of contact on the ground — one person who knows your name, your procedure, and your plan, and who you can reach whenever you need reassurance or anything at all. And each day, a nurse comes to you.
Everything happens in clear English. There are no language barriers, no guesswork, and no moment where you wonder who to call.
Your care doesn't stop at the airport. We stay in touch through your recovery, and your surgeon remains available for follow-up questions. If anything feels uncertain, we help you tell the difference between what's a normal part of healing and what needs attention — and if you ever need further care, we coordinate it for you.
Many patients say this is why they felt safe choosing surgery so far from home: they were supported the whole way, not just while they were in Thailand.
The biggest driver is wages. A Bangkok surgeon, anaesthetist, and nursing team earn a fraction of their Sydney, London, or LA equivalents — even though they're equally trained. The same applies to hospital staff, hotel rooms, drivers, every part of your stay.
On top of that: lower hospital overhead (real estate, malpractice insurance, admin), a strong exchange rate for AUD, USD, and GBP patients, and the fact that Thai private hospitals run at high patient volume — which actually sharpens a surgeon's experience over the years.
What stays the same: Thai-board-certified surgeons trained in Seoul, New York, and Europe, operating in JCI-accredited hospitals (World Medical, Kasemrad Ramkhamhaeng) — the same international standard you'd expect at home.
Most patients from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, and the UK enter on a visa exemption that covers up to 60 days — more than enough for surgery and recovery.
We confirm the current rules for your passport when you book, and flag if anything specific applies to you.
Our coordination is included in the package — no separate agency fee, no commissions added on top.
This is one of the things that sets us apart. Many agencies hand you a rough estimate and the real cost only shows up at the hospital. We do the opposite — you talk to the surgeon before you book, your quote is built around your specific case, and you know exactly which costs will come and when.
For a few procedures the exact fee can only be confirmed after the surgeon's in-person assessment. In those cases we give you a clear price range upfront, so there are no surprises on arrival.
You'll also meet your surgeon over a free video consultation before you pay any deposit — so you can ask your questions, see their work, and feel confident in your choice before committing to anything.
Larger surgeries (mommy makeover, gastric sleeve, full body contouring) need closer to 14–21 days. We'll give you the exact window for your specific procedure.
A companion is welcome and recommended; we can arrange their room and airport transfer alongside yours.
We provide compression garments and a recovery routine for the journey.
The remaining balance is due two weeks before your surgery. We do it this way on purpose — international transfers can take a few days, and the last thing you want is chasing a bank wire while you're packing your bags or already in Bangkok. Settling early means you arrive with everything sorted and zero payment admin on your mind.
Full payment terms and refund conditions are in your offer document — no surprises.
We'll outline what's possible during your free consultation.
Nothing is shared, used in marketing, or shown publicly without your consent.
