Tell us early

Contact your care manager at the first sign of a concern. You don’t have to be sure something is wrong.

Share what your surgeon needs

Photos and, if asked, a local doctor’s report. Any local report or scan is at your own cost.

Your case is reviewed

Your surgeon reviews it, with a video consultation where helpful, and the hospital confirms what a correction involves. We coordinate and keep you updated. Usually within 1 week.

A decision is made

If a surgical issue is confirmed and a correction recommended, the policy applies. You get the exact remaining hospital cost, if any, before you travel.

We coordinate everything

Your original surgeon, your original hospital, once healing allows: at least 6 months on, typically 6–12, unless medically urgent.

Smoking, alcohol & recovery

No smoking or vaping for 2 weeks before. No alcohol 1 week before and 2 weeks after. Facelift or neck-lift clients who smoked long-term: 12 months smoke-free.

Stay for your recovery, and tell us of any concern

Stay in Bangkok as long as your surgeon specifies. Tell us immediately about any complication or emergency treatment.

Weight, disclosure & screening

Keep roughly the same weight, and tell us about pregnancy or big changes. Disclose your medical history.

What it doesn’t cover

Aesthetic preferences or a change of mind — scarring, implant size or shape, nose refinement, minor touch-ups, or wanting a different look
Pre-existing or natural asymmetry, or any outcome affected by your own anatomy
The inherent risks of surgery — swelling, infection, numbness, altered sensation, rippling, or continued sagging
Capsular contracture and other implant-related conditions — assessed individually
Emergency treatment, infection treatment, scar revision, or management of seroma, hematoma, or pain
Complications treated during your original trip in Thailand
Changes from later weight change or pregnancy
Your flights, accommodation, and transfers for the corrective visit
Tests, scans, specialist consultations, or treatment in your home country — including the cost of documenting a concern
Any treatment from another surgeon or outside your approved hospital

How long does the policy last?

12 months from the date of your surgery.

What will I actually pay if a revision is needed?

Your surgeon waives their fee and we contribute toward the hospital cost. Any remaining hospital cost is confirmed to you upfront. Your travel back is your own.

Who decides whether a revision is needed?

Your surgeon alone confirms whether a surgical issue exists and whether a correction is recommended. Beauty Butler decides only the level of its hospital-cost contribution, and coordinates the visit.

When would a revision happen?

Once healing allows — at least 6 months after your original surgery, and typically around 6–12 months, unless it’s medically urgent.

What isn’t covered?

Aesthetic changes of mind, natural asymmetry, and the normal risks of surgery. Capsular contracture is assessed individually. Travel, and tests or treatment in your home country, are not included.

Should I still have my own insurance?

Yes. This policy doesn’t replace travel or medical insurance. If your insurance covers part of a revision, that is used first, and this policy covers what it doesn’t.

These terms govern Beauty Butler Thailand’s revision policy (“this policy”), included with primary cosmetic surgery booked through Beauty Butler.

1. General

1.1This policy is included at no cost with primary cosmetic surgery booked through Beauty Butler. It is not insurance and does not guarantee any surgical or aesthetic outcome — not all cosmetic surgery produces an ideal result, and outcomes depend on your anatomy, healing, and expectations. This policy is a commitment that your surgeon stands behind confirmed objective surgical issues relating to your procedure.

1.2This policy is valid for 12 months from the date of your surgery.

1.3Any corrective procedure is performed by your original Beauty Butler surgeon at the hospital where your surgery took place, and must be confirmed in writing by your surgeon and the hospital before it is scheduled. Beauty Butler confirms its contribution in writing at the same time.

1.4You must disclose all previous cosmetic surgery and relevant medical history. Failure to disclose relevant information may void this policy. You are subject to your surgeon and hospital accepting you for surgery.

2. What this policy provides

2.1Where this policy applies, your surgeon waives their professional fee in full; your Beauty Butler care and the aftercare following your revision are included; and Beauty Butler provides a partial or full contribution toward the hospital cost of the corrective procedure. The hospital cost is determined by the hospital and surgeon; the level of Beauty Butler’s contribution is decided by Beauty Butler.

2.2Any remaining share of the hospital cost is confirmed to you before the procedure. The final hospital cost is confirmed upfront and is determined by the hospital and surgeon; Beauty Butler’s contribution is confirmed at the same time.

2.3This policy does not include travel — your flights, accommodation, and transfers for the corrective visit are your own.

2.4If you hold insurance that covers any part of a revision, you agree to make use of that insurance first; this policy then applies to any costs your insurer does not meet.

3. When this policy applies

3.1This policy applies only where an objective surgical issue is confirmed by your surgeon and a corrective procedure is recommended and approved in writing. Qualifying cases include, for example, the hospital agreeing to perform corrective surgery because the initial result is not deemed successful. Other cases may be accepted subject to written approval.

3.2This policy does not apply to: aesthetic dissatisfaction or subjective opinion of the outcome (scarring of any kind, implant size or shape, breast position, nose refinement, minor skin laxity, minor touch-ups, a request for larger or different implants, or a change of mind); pre-existing or natural asymmetry, or any outcome affected by your pre-operative anatomy; the inherent risks of surgery (seroma, hematoma, infection, swelling, numbness, altered sensation, rippling, or continued sagging); emergency treatment, treatment of infection, scar revision, or management of seroma, hematoma, or pain; complications treated during your original trip in Thailand; changes from later weight gain, weight loss, or pregnancy; or any treatment obtained from another surgeon or outside the approved hospital.

3.3Capsular contracture and other implant-related conditions are assessed individually and are not automatically included. Where you have implants, you must register them with the manufacturer on receiving your post-surgery documentation, and provide proof of capsular contracture within 12 months of surgery.

3.4Unless medically needed sooner, the corrective procedure takes place no earlier than 6 months after your original surgery — and typically around 6–12 months — to allow proper healing and assessment of the final result. The cost of documenting a claim — photographs, ultrasound or MRI, medical reports — and any tests, scans, specialist consultations, or treatment obtained in your home country, is your responsibility.

3.5No self-diagnosis — a concern must be examined and confirmed by your surgeon. Beauty Butler does not make medical assessments.

4. Your responsibilities

4.1You must follow all general instructions and recommendations given by your surgeon, the hospital, and Beauty Butler, before and after your surgery — including wearing your compression garments correctly and completing your scheduled follow-up consultation — and do not alter any aspect of your procedure against your surgeon’s recommendations. Failure to follow these may invalidate this policy.

4.2Submit good-quality progress photographs — clear, not blurry, showing the full treated area — at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months after surgery. This is a condition of maintaining this policy.

4.3Stop smoking and vaping at least 2 weeks before surgery, and avoid alcohol for 1 week before and 2 weeks after; rest appropriately, avoiding strenuous activity and excursions until your surgeon advises otherwise. Facelift or neck-lift clients with a history of prolonged smoking must have ceased smoking for at least 12 months before surgery.

4.4Remain in Bangkok (or your place of surgery) for the period your surgeon specifies; early departure requires written approval. Notify Beauty Butler immediately of any complication and provide a medical report for any emergency treatment received. Failure to notify promptly may invalidate this policy.

4.5Maintain approximately the same body weight as at the time of your surgery, and disclose any significant weight change or pregnancy. Outcomes affected by later weight change or pregnancy fall outside this policy.

4.6If you are having breast surgery and have a family history of breast cancer, you must obtain a breast ultrasound or mammogram in your home country before travelling.

5. Decisions

5.1All cases are assessed objectively and coordinated by Beauty Butler. The medical assessment of your surgeon and the hospital is final. Beauty Butler’s decision on the level of its contribution is final.

5.2Negligence or breach of these conditions may reduce or void any contribution, assessed case by case.

6. Disclaimer

6.1Beauty Butler Thailand is a coordination and concierge service. We arrange and coordinate your surgery, travel, and care; we do not perform surgery and do not guarantee the outcome of any procedure, which is the responsibility of the operating surgeon and hospital.

6.2To the extent permitted by law, Beauty Butler accepts no liability for surgical outcomes, or for loss, delay, injury, or additional expense arising from surgery arranged on your behalf, including events beyond our reasonable control.
